 once there were valleys where rivers used to run 
 once there were blue skies with white clouds high above 
 once they were part of an everlasting love 
We were the lovers who strolled through greenfields
옛날 햇살이 빛나는 푸른 초원이 있었어요. 
옛날 강물이 흘렀던 계곡이 있었어요. 
옛날 흰 구름이 둥실둥실 떠 있는 하늘이 있었어요. 
옛날 그들은 영원한 사랑의 일부였지요. 
그리고 우린 푸른 초원을 거닐었던 연인들이었어요.

Greenfields are gone now parched by the sun. 
Gone from the valleys where rivers used to run

Gone with the lovers who let their dreams depart 
Where are the greenfields that we...used to roam? 
그러한 푸른 초원은 지금 태양에 말라 붙어 사라졌어요. 
강물이 흘렀던 계곡에서 사라졌어요. 
나의 가슴에 몰아친 차가운 바람과 함께 사라졌어요. 
꿈을 버린 연인들과 함께 사라졌어요. 
우리가 거닐던 푸른 초원은 어디에 있나요?
